IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Preparing for your permanent makeup appointment is crucial to ensure a successful and satisfying experience. By taking the necessary steps beforehand, you can maximize the outcome of your procedure and achieve the desired results. Here are some important things to do prior to your permanent makeup appointment.

Schedule a consultation:
If you're unsure about whether permanent makeup is the best option for you, feel free to schedule a consultation before your appointment. We're here to help address your concerns and answer any questions you may have. During the consultation, we'll evaluate your skin type, explore color choices, and offer expert advice tailored to your unique features.

Communicate Your Desires Clearly:
During your consultation and leading up to your appointment, clearly communicate your desired results. Explain your expectations regarding shape, color, and intensity.

Prepare for Aftercare:
Before your appointment, familiarize yourself with the aftercare instructions so you set yourself up for success! These guidelines involve avoiding direct sunlight, swimming pools, saunas, and heavy exercise during the healing process. Proper aftercare is crucial for the longevity and appearance of your permanent makeup.
PRE-APPOINTMENT PREPARATION:

Limit Sun Exposure: Avoid tanning beds and major sun exposure for at least two weeks before your appointment. Sunburned or tanned skin can interfere with the procedure and affect the color outcome.
Avoid Blood Thinners: Avoid consuming blood-thinning medications or supplements, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, or vitamin E, for a few days before your appointment. These can increase bleeding and make the procedure more challenging.
Hydrate and Nourish your Skin: Maintain good skin hydration by drinking plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment. Moisturize your skin regularly to ensure it's in optimal condition for the procedure.
Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine: Refrain from consuming alcohol and caffeine for at least 24 hours before your appointment. These substances can thin the blood and potentially increase bleeding.
Prepare for a few days of potential swelling, redness, and scabbing as part of the healing process.
